Other Markets Taking Measures...

Here are a few other food markets worth noting for the measures they are taking to protect public health.

  1. Mini-Farmers Market Saturday —> This Saturday (March 20) from 10-1, two of Kitchener Market's favourites will have a mini-market at Cafe Pyrus's Outpost Location on the Spurline Trail (150 Roger Street, Waterloo). Both will be set up in our parking spaces from 10-1. Roger Street has plenty of parking and easy access via the Spurline Trail. They ask that people be mindful of your community and adhere to proper social distancing. There is plenty of space for everyone and we will have a portable hand washing area available.

  2. Sobey’s —> Installing plexiglas barriers for cashiers. Changing hours to 8 am to 8 pm so can clean and restock.

Hope this helps you avoid the disease during this crisis. Take care and stay healthy!
