Upcoming Rain Garden Demo Project

Come meet and share time with your neighbours while helping to build a demo rain garden in the neigbhoourhood. The hope is that through this experience we might learn how to build future rain gardens in the neigbhourood! 

For those that don't know, a rain garden is a landscaped feature that replaces an area of your lawn in order to collect the stormwater (rain and melted snow) that runs off grass, roofs and driveways. They are not only both beauitful and creative, but also functional ways of helping prevent flooding.
